FH Decks and Landscaping- Culver, IN                                      June 2013-March 2014

            At this landscaping job I quickly learned the basics of outdoor maintenance.  This position has included operating company trucks, mowing, mulching, bed maintenance, installing sod, operating heavy machinery, building stone patios, removal of piers, irrigation, and much more.  I started at nine dollars an hour and after two months received a fifty-cent raise.

Papa Johns Pizza-Plymouth, IN                                                  December 2011-March 2014

            At Papa Johns in Plymouth I have worked as a delivery driver.  In the summer of 2012 the management team asked me to become a manager because I had been responsible for much more than delivering pizzas. Although I welcome the opportunity to take on new challenges and responsibilities, I was unable to take the position for personal reasons.  I do everything I can to help out at Papa Johns such as; working the cash register, food prepping, order taking dough slapping, pizza making, pizza cutting, and routing deliveries.  I often work closing shifts and work as a team with closing manager accomplishing all evening tasks, both cleaning and handling orders. 

Trinity United Methodist Church- Plymouth, IN                                  February 2011- June 2011

            I was the Youth Intern of my church for a short period of time, filling the youth director position temporarily.  I led youth group on Wednesday nights and helped plan events.  One of my contributions was holding concerts in the church fellowship hall, filling the lower level of the building with kids.  I was responsible for planning lessons, organizing games, arranging/playing worship music, and more.

Pizza Hut-Plymouth, IN                                                March 2007-June 2011

            I started working at Pizza Hut when I was in High School and it was my first job.  I learned a lot about the work place as well as what it means to work in a restaurant in my first year there. I took orders over the phone, did dishes, prepped food, worked the cash register, worked both the make and cut table, organized buffet table, bused tables, and did all closing duties.  I worked at this establishment for such a long time I created what I considered to be a family with my fellow employees.

            I attended college at IUPUI for several years.  I completed my core credits working towards a degree in the Liberal Arts program while I was attending school here.  I was also a member of the IUPUI Speech Team.  It is my intention to return and finish my degree.

Plymouth High School, Plymouth, IN                      August 2004-May 2008

            I received a CORE 40 diploma in May of 2008 from Plymouth High School.  I was a member of the Speech Team, the band, and the theatre program.  I received many awards and trophies from these electives.  My proudest accomplishments in speech were qualifying to the National Tournament twice and receiving 2nd place at State.  In theatre I had the pleasure in playing many lead roles in plays such as “Grease” and “The Wizard of Oz”
